  • Device information: Device model, operating system version

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide core app functionality (book tracking, reading statistics)
  • To offer social features (sharing, likes, comments)

3. Data Retention Period

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

  • Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymous statistical data may continue to be retained
  • Complete removal from backup systems may take up to 90 days

  • Purpose: Database, authentication, and file storage
  • Data shared: Account information, app data, avatar images

We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, or marketing SDKs. Your data is only shared with services necessary for the app to function.

  • Your passwords are hashed; they are not stored in plain text
  • Database access is restricted with authorization controls
  • Regular security updates and audits

ReadMode is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. We will promptly delete such data.

We comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the USA.

8. International Data Transfer

Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers' servers are located. These countries are typically in the EU and USA. All data transfers are conducted under appropriate security measures.

Our mobile app does not use cookies. This website only uses local storage to save your cookie preference. We do not perform tracking for analytics or advertising purposes.
